We would like to introduce to you our new President, Karen Baldwin.

Karen has been involved in the Show for many many years. You may have seen her in the cattle section or more recently in the sheep section.

Last night we held our AGM. After 6 years our President, Lisa Plohl stepped down.

We thank Lisa for her dedication and commitment to the Huon Agricultural Society Inc during her term as President.

Lisa has done a total of 10 years as President over her time on the Committee.

Don't fear though, you will still see her on Show Day as she remains on our Committee.

We will do a separate post announcing our new President soon.

ATTENTION: Due to very low entries, the Huon Show Horse Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the Equestrian Huon Show 2025, scheduled for Sunday 29 March 2026.
We sincerely appreciate those who have entered and will organise refunds as soon as possible.
We acknowledge the challenging times many face, including rising fuel costs, which has also factored into our decision.
We look forward to seeing you at future events.
