A lovely day and most amazing tour of the Garvan Institute
Flying the flag for ALVA Women In Entertainment - the committee tour was amazing thank you very much Abbey for all your knowledge of history and the complete workings of the building. A wonderful institution that continues the incredible research work of so so many conditions and diseases. Thanks for a lovely morning Team.

ALVA, as a registered and incorporated charity, continues to support the Garvan Institute, as it has done for decades, directing our donations to breast cancer and ovarian cancer much needed research.

Last week, we had the pleasure of a ALVA Committee tour of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
What an extraordinary place it is! Thank you to Kristin, Claire, and the delightful Abbey, our tour guide. We learned so much about the history, starting right back from 1963.
