Ipswich Quota members were proud to assist, in a small way, to the success of the Regina and Vicki Doig Foundation morning tea hosted by West Moreton Health Foundation on Saturday at CSI Club. The event was attended by many local dignitaries and Ipswich residents who enjoyed hearing of the wonderful research undertaken by the successful Grant recipient and sharing of a delicious High Tea.

Whilst celebrating Enid’s 40 years of membership, our Club also celebrated our Community Service and Social Co-Director, Darlene’s 20 years with Ipswich Quota.
Our youthful IT expert is always supportive and ready to assist with Club projects and functions.

At our Quota meeting this week, Ipswich members celebrated the membership of our long-standing member, Enid who joined Quota International of Ipswich in November 1985.
Throughout Enid’s years in Quota, she has held many positions and has been generous with her time and commitment to assist the local community in all of our fundraising functions.
We thank you Enid, for your friendship and support, and look forward to sharing many more happy occasions together!

Members and friends of Ipswich Quota recently enjoyed a Go Pink fundraiser at Veronica’s home where participants were challenged to join in various fun games. Theme of the evening was “Booby Trapped” and funds raised will be donated to West Moreton Health Foundation to assist in research associated with breast cancer and to support those persons undergoing treatment.

Some members’ husbands kindly assisted in the setting up of games and guests were generous in supporting the fun activities. It was agreed by all attending the function that the evening was a wonderful success and a delicious supper was served to compliment the event.
