Situated at 13 Penghana Road Queenstown (next to NDIS), the Queenstown Men's Shed is open to men and women.
Opening times are Friday and Saturday from 10.00 until 2.00 pm. Join us for a sausage sizzle lunch every Saturday.
Membership fees are: 6 months - $25, 12 months - $50.

At the Queenstown Men's Shed Inc, we have a new committee and new goals. As a community minded group, we aim to develop projects to benefit as many as possible within our community, while utilizing the skills and sharing the knowledge of our members. For our newest project we have started making wooden toys. To be part of the toy making, skills other than woodworking are needed, ie., sanding, painting and so on. All skill levels are welcome. Everyone can join in and lend a hand. The Men's Shed is not simply about focusing on the workshop and using the tools. We are a friendly, inclusive group from many different backgrounds, many of whom enjoy a chat over a cuppa and a biscuit. Our social activities currently include playing various card games, chess, Scrabble, jigsaw puzzles and conversation. Upcoming events: we have music trivia nights planned - stay tuned. It will be fun. We are open to suggestions on how to improve, and ways by which we can offer more involvement to current and future members. Let us know what you think. We'd love to hear from you.
We're holding our Christmas BBQ from midday on the 14th December. Everyone is welcome to join us and have a look around the Shed. We'll be preparing our entry for the Queenstown Christmas parade. Come along, offer suggestions and give us a hand.
We will be closed over the Christmas/New Year period from 22nd December and reopen on 3rd January 2025. We all look forward to a positive and productive 2025.
