Queenstown Men's Shed Incorporated new opening hours: Tuesdays 12pm to 4pm strictly for the ladies. Fridays 10am to 2pm for the guys. Saturdays 10am to 2pm is for both which will include BBQ etc. We look forward to your attendance. Don't forget AGM 21st September. See previous post below.

AGM: In keeping with the TMSA - TasmaniaMensShedAssociation Charter- we are having ours on Saturday 21st September at 11AM. Everyone is welcome to attend. In a promising turnaround a further 5 people have joined as of last night.

The Queenstown Community Men`s Shed is pleased to announce that professional hands on tuition/guidance has been offered to any members or prospective members 18 years onward in the procedure of RC Aircraft modeling. Although most Sheds are predominately geared towards 'blokes' we have a growing female/ladies collective including Brenda Steiner a world class stained glass artist. Tania an absolute genius in timber epoxy finishes. Annette, known for her epic 17m long War mural at the Queenstown RSL. Maureen who works magic whittling away on the lathe & whose grandson is keen to become a member. As for the tuition of RC aircraft model making Steve Barrow, our local Senior Constable & a prolific model maker in his own right has offered his experience to any one interested.
