Launceston Ultimate Frisbee are hosting one more Come and try session tomorrow night (Thu 26th) before their March League begins from 5 March!

We have one more Come and try night, next Thursday 26th Feb, if you haven't played Ultimate frisbee before and would like to check it out come along and join in. And if you have played before and want to play again but don't have a team, you can sign up as an individual, or send us a message, or comment below and we'll find you a team!

Players are responsible for 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 — grab friends, family, colleagues, or people from Come & Try. Pick a team name, register together, and you’re in. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 8 players per team.

*AGM upcoming March 16th.*

The annual general meeting of the Tasmanian Ultimate Association will take place on Monday 16th March 2026. The meeting will be held at Soldiers Memorial Oval, Queens Domain, at 6:50pm before the league games. All members of the Tasmanian ultimate community are welcome and encouraged to attend. There can be a video call set up to allow interested members outside of Hobart to attend, please contact us if you would like this.

The business of the AGM will be to receive annual reports about the transactions and finances over the previous year, elect officers and general committee members of the association, and determine their remuneration.

The committee comprises of the executive (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary), and up to ten ordinary members. All of these positions will be open for election.

The committee meets once every month or so, usually with some pizza to make decisions about where our money is spent, what sort of leagues are run, and how to make our sport the best we can for you locally. If you might be able to spare 10 evenings a year, and help keep our sport running, come have a chat to one of us. We would love to see you be a part of it. After all, many hands make light work.

Nominations for executive positions should be sent to [email protected] by Monday 9th March. Nominations should be signed by 2 members of the TUA, i.e. any Tasmanian players. If no nominations are received, then nominations can be taken from the floor during the AGM. Position descriptions for the executive positions are available on request.

Launceston Ultimate Frisbee are hosting a free Community Day at Royal Park Oval on February 8th. A great opportunity to learn to play Ultimate and watch a showcase game with some of Tassie's best players!
