Wednesday, 6 May at 11:30 am in Hyde Park, Sydney.

When we are united, we are stronger. We must remain diligent in our oppposition of this Bill that poses a direct threat to our Land Rights.

Are you or do you have an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander young person who is moving into Year 10 or Year 11 in 2026, who would like to gain a Certificate II qualification in Conservation and Ecosystem Management? If so, then this is for you!

The Ngambri LALC is pleased to annouce that we have a limited number of traineeships available for High School students in Years 10 or 11 in 2026. The traineeship is an opportunity to gain work experience whilst completing an accreditated Certificate II in Conservation & Ecosystem Management, recognised by the Australian Skills Quality Authority. Participanting students will work one day per week at the Ngambri LALC, and attend High School the other four days.

Due to Sorry Business the Ngambri LALC will be closed today, Friday 19th September 2025.

Uncle Arnold Douglas Williams was a key figure in the establishment of the Local Aboriginal Land Council in Queanbeyan in 1983.

A celebration of Uncle Arnold's life will be held at 11am on Friday, 19th September at the Queanbeyan Bush Cemetery, followed by a wake at Queanbeyan Showground. All are welcome to attend.
