Don’t miss out on a delicious traditional Fijian earth oven feast and accompanying menu to tantalise your taste buds, as we launch into spring 2019. We're proud to announce that our feast this year will be coordinated by one of our very own renown Chef-Duri, who will present our "Magiti” through a selection of banquet style ”Grazing” stations for ease of self-service, to optimise your island dinner experience. This Island night themed event will complete a weekend of fun filled celebrations in the Nations capital.

The evenings closing dinner and dance activities are kid friendly with a designated chill-out “kids korner” space for the nurturing parents or doting grandparents to relax and indulge from a selection of desserts, and a soothing warm beverage from the coffee station.

A reminder that the venue has wheelchair and pram access for ease and mobility for the whole family! A designated “kids korner” for the doting parent or grand parents, where the can enjoy a warm beverage and help themselves to the dessert grazing table.

The bar will be well stocked with your favourite beers and shelf spirits so bring your $$$ with you. There will be wai ni vanua served as well in the spirit of our Fiji Day celebrations!

This year’s Queanbeyan 7’s competition has been re-branded: ‘Queanbeyan Fiji Day Sevens’ to highlight the collaboration with the Fiji High Commission in Canberra for their Fiji national day celebrations which will see Fijian food sold on the day and guest speakers from the community.

As with previous interactions, the competition will feature some of the top club and invitational teams from ACT and NSW competition across the men’s and women’s competition.

This year Fiji Airways has come on board to sponsor the officials and also provide return flights (taxes and surcharges paid by the winner) to Fiji for the player of the tournament.
