This week, our CEO Emmanuel Martin and Independent Director Anu Bedi sat down to record a Discovery Session unpacking the deeper thinking behind The Founders Circle.

One thing kept coming up throughout the conversation.

Starting and growing a business isn’t just about strategy.
It’s about the foundations underneath the founder.

Your confidence.
Your thinking.
Your environment.
Your ability to stay aligned under pressure.

The Founders Circle was created for founders, business owners and growth-minded individuals who want more than surface-level networking or generic business advice.

It’s a small cohort experience focused on strengthening the foundations that support sustainable growth in business and life through honest conversation, accountability, reflection and practical momentum.

Our first cohort commences on 26 June 2026 and we now have only 3 spots remaining.

If this feels like the right room for you, register your EOI in the comments and we’ll send through the details.

From self doubt to self belief.
From uncertainty to opportunity.
From mindset… to macchiatos. ☕🔥

Last week marked the completion of Phase 2 of our Co Brewed Futures Program, delivered in collaboration with Aboriginal Employment Strategy and Rebels N Misfits and what a journey it was.

Over the course of the program, our young people didn’t just learn hospitality skills. They learnt how to back themselves, work as a team, communicate with confidence and step into new environments with courage and purpose.

From preparing coffees and food service, to engaging with customers and building workplace readiness, every session became an opportunity to strengthen both practical capability and personal growth.

Our final week was made even more special thanks to the incredible team at Pablo & Rusty’s, who generously hosted our participants for an immersive coffee roasting experience. Participants had the opportunity to learn the art, science and culture behind specialty coffee roasting gaining insight into the journey from bean to cup.

To close the program, participants were proudly presented with their competition certificates for Coffee Preparation as well as certificates recognising their completion of BREED’s Learning for Good Program, celebrating not only the skills they developed, but the growth in confidence, connection and self worth they demonstrated throughout the journey.

Programs like Co Brewed Futures remind us that when young people are given belief, opportunity and the right environment, incredible things happen.

A heartfelt thank you to:
☕ Aboriginal Employment Strategy
☕ Rebels N Misfits
☕ Pablo & Rusty’s
☕ City of Sydney

And most importantly, to the amazing young people who showed up every week ready to grow, challenge themselves and build a stronger future.

From little things, big things grow. 💛

Over the years, we’ve seen so many capable people build businesses, careers and ideas… while quietly struggling with the foundations underneath it all.

That’s why we created Founders Circle.

A small, reflective and high-impact environment focused on strengthening the three foundations that shape sustainable growth:
Self Worth. Connection. Prosperity.

Tomorrow, we’re hosting a live Discovery Session where our CEO Emmanuel Martin and Independent Director Anu Bedi, will share the vision behind it, who it’s for, and why this work matters now more than ever.

Families look different for everyone, and that’s what makes them so powerful.
On International Day of Families, we recognise the role families play in shaping who we are, supporting us through every stage, and grounding our communities.
At BREED, we see this every day, whether it’s the family businesses in our offices or the businesses that feel like family.
Today is a reminder to appreciate the people who feel like home 🤍

What if one of the most important skills for young people today isn’t just IQ… but EQ?

On Monday night, our CEO Emmanuel Martin had the privilege of delivering an Emotional Intelligence and Design Thinking workshop for parents through the P&C Association at The Ponds High School, one of the largest in the state.

Together, we explored the growing pressures facing Gen Z and why emotional intelligence, resilience, communication and self awareness are becoming critical life skills for young people navigating school, relationships and the future.

One of the most powerful parts of the evening was an empathy mapping activity where parents stepped into the world of young people and explored:
• What they may be feeling
• What pressures they face
• What influences shape them
• What support they truly need

The conversations were honest, insightful and deeply meaningful.

Research continues to show the importance of Social Emotional Learning, with studies linking it to improved academic performance, stronger emotional regulation, better relationships and increased confidence.

In fact, one major study involving more than 270,000 students found that students participating in social and emotional learning programs demonstrated stronger emotional skills and an 11 percentile point gain in academic achievement.

This is exactly why we are excited to now launch our upcoming Youth Transformation Workshop this July for high school students.

A space designed to help young people strengthen:
✔ Emotional Intelligence
✔ Resilience
✔ Goal Achievement
✔ Confidence and mindset

Strong minds. Resilient hearts. Brighter futures.

From mindset shifts to making macchiatos ☕🔥

Our Co Brewed participants are continuing to grow in confidence, connection and practical capability as they move from conversations around mindset into hands on hospitality training.

Over the past weeks, our young people have been learning how to operate within a real café environment, preparing coffees, supporting kitchen operations, working as a team and building practical customer service skills. From smoothies and breakfast wraps to coffees and fresh food prep, every shift is becoming an opportunity to build responsibility, resilience and self belief.

What makes Co Brewed special is that it’s not just about learning how to make coffee. It’s about co brewing stronger mindsets, new opportunities and pathways into employment and community connection.

We are incredibly proud of the energy, courage and growth our participants continue to show each week. Watching them step outside their comfort zones, support one another and develop industry ready skills has been amazing.

A huge thank you to our incredible partners and collaborators who help bring this vision to life:

Not everything goes to plan… and honestly, that’s kind of the point

The camera died
We didn’t and stayed in the present momentAnd the conversation just kept going

What came out of it is this mix of bloopers, real moments, and a glimpse into what the Founders Circle is about. Not perfection, but people (who love Oat Milk). The ones who show up, speak honestly, and build something meaningful together.

Also… keep an ear out for how many times oat milk comes up, it’s starting to feel like the real unofficial entry requirement… 👀

The full interview with our CEO Emmanuel Martin, creator of Founders Circle and co-facilitator Anu Bedi is coming soon✨
