Hi Neighbours we have talked to Council about having a Garage Sale market in Kelly Park on Sunday 15 November.... and it's going to happen!

So, we are giving you the heads up to start your SPRING CLEANING early, and get ready for the National Garage Sale Trail in Pyramid Hill..

You can: Have a Garage Sale at home, or on your farm.. or you can have a stall in Kelly Park. Kelly Park Stall Holders MUST bring their own gear, tables, chairs and marquees.
You MUST register your Kelly Park stalls with us so we can map out where people will go.. and so we can put you on our insurance for the day. [Please register, it really is important].

Cost this year is $15 which covers online advertising through Facebook and the National Garage Sale Trail website.. and in Loddon Herald. It also pays into the cost for getting permits together for Kelly Park.

Did you know that Finders Keepers will be open that day too!
It will be a really fun day!

The last few years of running the event we have sold 80 - 100 garage sale maps each time. Over half of those were to visitors to the town. Many of them were collectors looking for shed clear outs, tools, bottles, vintage furniture and ... cars.... yes.. cars!

Pyramid Hill Progress Association is leading a project for a hi-level design (Masterplan) for a walking track from town to the Hill, some improved recreation facilities and a flood-proof crossing at Bullock Creek.
There's more and you can learn about it at the upcoming community consultation sessions 14 and 15 September. We'd love you to come along, have a cuppa with us and give us your input - it really counts at the sketch-stage of the masterplanning process.

Hi Neighbours we are getting ready for our renovations this week! From time to time there might be a temporary close on the House while we try and move our library and prep for the electrician and builder.

All disruptions should be minor...... but who knows?!

If you are wanting to help us out in any way - Tuesday we are moving our LIBRARY and may need help with books and shelving from 11am.

And we will kiss this wall goodbye as of Friday! Whoo!

UPDATE:
Diagnosis. Ziggy has an infection in the fluid around her liver.
She’s on 3 types of drugs- antibiotics/anti inflammatory/ non-steroidal something or others.. we are hand feeding her and syringing water into her gob.
She’s had a lot of stuff happen this week, (two ultrasounds, multiple blood tests, a needle in the tummy, injections galore..) so she’s a little suspicious of everything we do..

Yesterday we were in the waiting room, and a worried young couple were waiting on news of their sick dog - Ziggy went over and gave them a cuddle and a smooch. She’s always working, bless her.

Another appointment scheduled for Monday.

Dr Ziggy remains on the critically sick list.
She’s got unidentified fluid pockets around her liver - and a mucous plug in her gall bladder.

The vet is inserting a long needle into her tummy to try and get a sample from the liver fluid..

It’s serious. We are worried. Keep her little furry face in your thoughts this weekend.
