A great day today for our members at the Emergency Services Field Day at Coral Sea Marina.

Was wonderful chatting to people and helping with disaster readiness.

It doesn't matter what car you drive, or how good you are at driving - as soon as you enter floodwater, your car can’t protect you.

On Sunday, our volunteers were up early getting into position along the Great Walk, ready for the 2026 Whitsunday Trail Fest.

SES volunteers were along the track keeping count of runners, providing assistance with first aid and ensuring all runners returned safely to the foreshore of Airlie Beach.

Congratulations to the organisers for another great event.

And a massive brag post, as our very own Paddy won the mascot race!!!
