There are three Girl Guide units that meet in Rochedale - Sunshine Guide Unit (ages5-9) Funtastics Guide Unit (ages9-13) and RAGU (ages13-18).

🔥✨ What a fantastic night at Funtastics Girl Guides! ✨🔥
Our Guides had an amazing evening filled with friendship, laughter, and delicious food. We got creative making our own toasties, enjoyed tasty sausage sizzles, and finished the night gathered around the fire making gooey, chocolatey s’mores. 🍞🌭🍫🔥
There’s nothing better than sharing stories, learning new skills, and making memories with friends around a campfire. Nights like these remind us why Guiding is so much fun!
We can't wait to see what adventures next week brings! 💙

We’ve had such a blast welcoming our amazing mums and aunties into the unit this week. Whether you were helping us master a new skill, getting stuck into a messy craft, or just sharing a laugh during games, you made your guides meeting extra special.

Today we celebrate all the incredible mums, carers, and mother figures who support our Rochedale Girl Guides every single day. 💖
Thank you for the lifts to meetings, the helping hands at events, the words of encouragement, and the endless behind-the-scenes support. Our girls are able to learn, grow, and shine because of you.
We also celebrate the strong, kind, and inspiring role models you are—teaching our Guides what it means to care for others, give back to the community, and believe in themselves. 🌟

📣 Did you daughter recently attend a come and try day at Sunshine Guides? Are you looking for some financial help with the costs involved with starting Girl Guides?

Girl Guides Queensland is a proud activity provider under this initiative. You can apply for and use a $200 Play On voucher to offset the cost of a new Guides membership or renewal OR put it towards camp fees.

💥 $200 per child per financial year - if you missed out in round 1 last year this is your chance!

🌺 ANZAC March – Springwood 🌺
Today, the girls from Rochedale Girl Guides were proud to take part in the ANZAC March at Springwood. It was a meaningful opportunity for our Guides to show respect and gratitude, and to remember the service and sacrifice of all those who have served our country.
We are so proud of the way our girls represented Guiding with dignity and pride. Thank you to our leaders, families, and community members who supported us, and to the organisers Springwood Tri-Service RSL Sub-Branch for a thoughtful and well-run event.

Today we celebrate our amazing planet and the small actions that make a big difference. From caring for our campsites and saving water, to reducing waste and protecting wildlife, Girl Guides everywhere are doing their part to leave the world a better place than they found it.

🌟 Promises, pride and progression at Rochedale Girl Guides! 🌟
We celebrated some very special milestones across our units 💙
✨ Sunshine Guides proudly welcomed one new guide making their Promise, taking their first official step on their Guiding journey.
🎉 Funtastics had an amazing celebration with seven Promise ceremonies — what a fantastic achievement and a wonderful reflection of the girls’ commitment and teamwork.
🎁 We also marked a special Gift of a Guide, as one of our Funtastics officially moved up to RAGU, ready for new adventures and challenges ahead.
We are so proud of every Guide who stood tall, made their Promise, and supported their Guiding sisters. Thank you to our leaders, families and helpers for making these moments so meaningful 💐
