And that's Underwood park parkrun for another week!

Congratulations to the 172 participants this week and a big thank you to todays volunteers Warren STARK, Tony (Aka Steve) WARNER ,Cherith EAMES, Adam PINCOTT, Perry LE PETIT, Karishma DEO, Susan RESSIA, Kellie ROBERTSON, Matthew ROBERTSON, Vicki BURKE, Angela STARK and Sharon STUART

Thank you too for the people who put their name down for a future week, the roster now looks so much healthier! We only need someone to do finish tokens next week :)

BREAKING NEWS!

After days of negotiations, extensive recruitment campaigns, and strategic diplomacy, tomorrow's parkrun has achieved the near impossible - we have all the mandatory roles on our roster filled for this weekend.

Tony will be doing setup and course check.
The three ways has the ever-vigilant Vicki directing traffic.
We've got two barcode scanners - Susan and Karishma.
We've got Cherith timekeeping, Adam handing out finish tokens.
The tokens will be sorted by Perry.
And to ensure no-one gets left behind or lost, Matt and Kellie will be your tail walkers.

Whilst all this happens, Angela will be taking photos.

Your Run Director has looked at the roster and experienced a feeling rarely seen in the wild: complete peace.

As Friday evening falls, the course lies silent. The cones wait patiently. The hi-vis vests hang in anticipation. The stopwatch dreams of personal bests yet to come.

Tomorrow, runners will run.
Walkers will walk.
Volunteers will volunteer.
Dogs will tow their humans at improbable speeds.

And not a single desperate "Can anyone help tomorrow morning?" post shall darken our screens (though, of course, additional volunteers are always welcome, and the roster for the next few weeks as always looks a little grim!)

It was a lovely morning for parkrun today. We had 166 finishers, 10 vollies, 4 milestones, plenty of visitors, and lots of fun! A special thank you to the vollies who made the event possible: Angela STARK, Warren STARK, Jodi WILLIAMS, Coral DENNY, Mark BLAKELEY, Rhys CAMERON, Dhvani CHAUHAN, Shannon CLOSE, Darryl JACOBSEN, Ken TELFER. You rock!

Good morning parkrunners --- Urgently seeking volunteers for Timekeeper, finish tokens, and a course marshal.

parkrun can't run without these crucial roles so we will cancel if we do not have them filled.

You'll find the volunteering experience rewarding and both the jobs are easy. Please drop us a message or comment on the post if you'd like to help us out.

We also have plenty of volunteering opportunities in the next few weeks if you're keen!
