RIP Bruce - a former committee member & caravan park sub committee member

Our Price community comes together to honour and remember Bruce Long, a much-loved local who gave so much to our town.

Bruce's dedication to the Price Boat Club, his willingness to volunteer, and his support community events .He was also a great supporter of the Price Tractor Pull, and loved fast cars , loud engines and seeing the community come together .

Anthony his son would enjoy everyone to join us at the Price Hotel to raise a glass in Bruce's memory, share stories, celebrate his life, and remember the wonderful man who loved Price and its people.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with Lee, Anthony and all of Bruce's family during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing Bruce with our community for so many years. His kindness, generosity, and community spirit of that regular wave from his porch will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Bruce. Your legacy will live on in the community you loved so dearly. 🍻🚜❤️

📸 Friday Flashback –

This week we’re flashing it back to the Price Rifle Club, which was active from 1923 to 1971.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any photographs of the club in our collection, but we’d love to learn more about this important part of Price’s history. If you have any photos, stories, newspaper clippings or memorabilia, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

A big thank you to Sharyn Sims for generously loaning these wonderful Rifle Club badges collected by her father and grandfather.

The collection features badges from clubs across South Australia and beyond, including:
