Skate Ability

Skate Ability Skaters can take part in activities they would normally be unable to participate in with a view to:

1. Provide relief from social isolation
2.

Australian branch of Inclusive Skating

The objective of this charity is to provide relief from the distress and disadvantages experienced by people living with disability by providing support and skating opportunities. Provide a healthy and practical exercise option
3. Improve mental health outcomes for people with disabilities through an enjoyable and socially inclusive physical activity

Registrations are closing soon for the FREE Skate Ability Winter Holiday Program for people with disabilities aged 12-24 years on at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink & Bocce Club this coming Friday 17th July starting at 12noon. This program is funded by the NSW Office for Youth.

A huge thank you to the Commonwealth Bank Branches in Liverpool, for pooling together their Community Donation program funds to provide Skate Ability a $1,000 donation! We plan to purchase some equipment including a wheelchair or two to support our school sport programs for students with disabilities. If you are a school that supports students with disabilities & you are looking for a community based activity for your students, please reach out!
