Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre manages Pottsville Beach Markets. Our vibrant markets are always held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.

Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre (PBNC) runs the Pottsville Beach Community Markets as part of its suite of social enterprises. PBNC is committed to providing inclusive and beneficial opportunities for all stakeholders.

Spring is in full swing, the coastal air is calling, and it’s time to get out and explore! 🌿

Join us this Sunday 18 October for a wander around the Pottsville Beach Community Markets at Philip Street Reserve. We’re here on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 7am to 1pm-ish.

There's a little something for everyone! Come browse our wonderful mix of local and regional stallholders, with plenty of goodies to discover, including:
🌞 Fresh fruit, veggies and delicious treats
🌞 Plants to brighten up your home and garden
🌞 Handmade jewellery, art and unique creations
🌞 Clothing, gifts and all sorts of unexpected treasures

It’s a great way to spend a Sunday morning, support local small businesses, catch up with friends and enjoy the relaxed community atmosphere. Please remember to bring along some cash just in case mobile connectivity is sketchy. 👌💛

While you’re out and about, why not pop in and see which of our local street traders are open? It's a great place to grab a coffee, have a browse and make a morning of it with family and friends.

🌞 HELLO OCTOBER… AND HELLO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS! 🌞

It’s nearly market time again — and this Sunday comes with an extra hour of daylight! ⏰

Daylight Savings begins at 2am this Sunday, 4 October, so don’t forget to move your clocks forward one hour before heading out for a morning of markets, bargains and coastal fun. (Our market runs 7am–1pm on Philip St Reserve, Pottsville.)

Make the most of the long weekend and come for a wander through our wonderful mix of local growers, makers, bakers, creators and small businesses. Pick up something tasty, discover something different, catch up with friends or simply enjoy a relaxed Sunday morning by the coast. Bring some cash along just to make sure you can get that item or snack you find, as tap and go relies on mobile reception which can be sketchy in our neck of the woods.

FIRST MARKET OF THE MONTH = EXTRA BARGAINS!

Our Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre Op Shop, Furniture shop and Trash ’n’ Treasure pop-up will also be open, just up the rear driveway at the southern end of Philip St. There’s plenty more to browse and plenty of treasures waiting to be discovered!

🐾 And yes, we’re dog friendly! Bring your four-legged market buddy along — just remember to keep them on a lead to avoid any doggy-dramas.

🌸 SPRING IS CALLING… TIME TO GET OUT AND ABOUT! 🌞🐾

Why stay tucked up in bed when there’s a beautiful spring morning waiting for you at the Pottsville Beach Community Market this Sunday 20 September, from 7am to around 1pm!

Get up, stretch your legs and head to Philip St Reserve for a wander around our friendly markets.

It's a place to browse a great mix of local and regional stallholders, discover fresh produce and tasty treats and find something handmade, unique or unexpected.

Our markets are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, making them a great excuse to get out, support local makers and growers, catch up with friends and enjoy everything Pottsville has to offer. Just make sure to bring some cash along as mobile reception can be very sketchy in Pottsville.

🐶 And yes, we’re dog-friendly! Bring your four-legged friend along, but please keep them on a lead so everyone — including our local wildlife — can enjoy the experience.

After the market, visit local shops for an extra treat.

HELLO SPRING… AND HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! 💙👨‍👧‍👦

This Sunday is a double celebration! Father’s Day is here, and it’s the beginning of spring — the perfect excuse to get out and enjoy a beautiful morning at the Pottsville Beach Community Market at Philip Street Reserve. 🌿☀️ (Our Markets are held on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month)

Forgot to get Dad a present? Don’t panic! 😄 Come along from 7am to around 1pm and see what treasures await you. From unique gifts and local creations to tasty treats, fresh produce and plenty of interesting finds, there’s something for everyone - especially Dad!
🛍️ And because it’s our first Sunday market of the month, there’s even more to explore! Don't forget to bring some cash along as some stalls only take it and sometime the reception on the ground can be spotty.

Just a short walk up the Neighbourhood Centre’s rear driveway at the southern end of Philip Street — or via Elizabeth Street — you’ll also find: Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre's Op Shop – plenty of bargains and pre-loved treasures, our Second-Hand Furniture & Electrical Store – great gifts at great prices and our Trash ’n’ Treasure Pop-Up – a bargain hunter’s paradise!

Spring has sprung! Soak up the fresh start to the season, enjoy the laid-back coastal atmosphere, wander through the stalls and catch up with friends and locals.

🐾 Thinking about bringing your dog too? We’re dog-friendly! Just remember to keep your four-legged friend on a leash so everyone can enjoy the morning.

And don’t forget to wander a little further into town — some of our local shops will also be open, making it the perfect opportunity to grab a coffee, browse the shops and turn your market visit into a full morning out.

It’s time to browse our market stalls and have a whale of a time in doing it! 🐋💙

Come along this Sunday 16 August, to the Pottsville Beach Community Market and make the most of a relaxed morning by the coast. (Philip Street Reserve, Pottsville Beach 7am – 1pm-ish.)

NB: Our markets are the first and third Sunday of every month

Keep your eyes on the ocean! 👀🌊 It's whale watching season and from Pottsville beach and other nearby coastal vantage points you may be lucky enough to spot them breaching, spouting, spy-hopping and cruising past as they continue their migration.

Of course, there’s plenty happening on land too! 🛍️🌿

Come and wander through our friendly market stalls featuring a great mix of baked and value-added goodies, fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, arts and crafts, clothing and plenty more. You never know what treasure you might find! Just don’t forget to bring some cash along as mobile reception for tap and go is sketchy.

Why not make a day of it? Shop locally, grab a bargain, enjoy the beach and watch the whales go by. It’s the perfect Pottsville Sunday! ☀️🐋

Winter is the perfect excuse for a coastal adventure! 🌊 🌞❄️🌊

Join us this Sunday at the Pottsville Beach Community Market on Philip Street Reserve, from 7am to around 1pm. (Our markets are the first & third Sunday of every month.)

Take advantage of the beautiful, clear, sunny weather and wander through a fantastic selection of new and familiar stalls. Whether you're shopping for staples, unique finds or simply looking for a relaxing morning out, there's something for everyone!

You'll find...

Remember to bring a little cash, just in case, as mobile reception for tap and go purchasing can be a bit sketchy.

As it's the first Sunday of the month, make sure you also visit Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre's Trash 'n' Treasure Mini-Market, Op Shop (open 8am–12 noon) and Second Hand Furniture and Electrical Goods Store (8:30 to 12noon) for plenty of bargain hunting! It's just a short stroll along Elizabeth Street or easily accessed via PBNC's rear driveway on Philip Street.

🐶 We're dog friendly! Bring your furry friend along, but please keep them on a leash for a safe and drama-free day.

Many of Pottsville's local cafés and shops will also be open to offer lots of tasty food/drink options. Make the most of your visit to see what our friendly community has to offer. Don't forget to wander across to shoreline vantage points to wave safe passage to our migrating Humpbacks 🐋 🐳

🌬️ Market Update 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to the forecast of strong winds, today's Pottsville Beach Community Market has officially been cancelled for everyone's safety.

But there's a silver lining! 💚 A handful of our dedicated stallholders have decided to brave the weather and will still be there with a selection of fresh produce, plants, books, and other great products.

If you're nearby, why not pop down and show them some support? You'll even find some fantastic bargains, with items like fresh strawberries available at reduced prices!

Every purchase makes a big difference to these small local businesses, especially on a day like today. We hope to see a few friendly faces down there. Stay safe, and thank you for supporting local! 🌱🍓📚

❄️ It's the heart of winter, and there's no better way to spend a chilly Sunday morning than at the Pottsville Beach Community Market! 🌊

Join us this Sunday at Philip Street Reserve from 7:00am to around 1:00pm. (Our markets are held on the first and third Sunday of every month.)

With the school holidays coming to an end, it's the perfect opportunity to rug up, grab a warm coffee, and enjoy a relaxed stroll through the market. Breathe in the fresh coastal air, soak up the friendly community atmosphere, and browse a fantastic mix of both new and returning stallholders.

You'll discover a wonderful variety of fresh baked and value-added goodies, fresh local fruit and vegetables, plants and garden treasures, handmade arts and crafts, clothing and accessories, plus plenty more unique finds waiting to be discovered!

You can also access our neighbourhood centre via the rear driveway on Philip Street.

🐾 🐕 dogs are welcome! You can bring your four-legged friend along—just remember to keep them on a lead and ensure they're happy to socialise with people and other doggos.

With many of our local cafés and shops open as well, it's the perfect opportunity to make a day of it and enjoy everything Pottsville has to offer...including vantage points to see migrating humpback whales 🐳 🐋!

The winter chill has arrived, so if you are planning to head down to our beautiful Philip Street Reserve early, rug up! Our market runs from 7 am until around 1 pm and are on the first and third Sunday of every month.

Stroll through the market and discover a fantastic variety of stalls featuring fresh local produce, delicious baked treats, plants, clothing, arts and crafts, handmade gifts, and plenty of unique treasures. Whether you're shopping for something special or simply enjoying a morning out, there's something for everyone.

💵 A friendly reminder to bring some cash along, as mobile reception can occasionally be unreliable and may affect card payments at some stalls.
