🍰 Could your cake be crowned Pottsville’s favourite birthday bake?

We’re looking for local baking enthusiasts to help celebrate the Pottsville Beach Community Hall’s 40th birthday with a community cake competition featuring prizes, community voting and plenty of cake to go around! 🎂🎉

Whether you’re a passionate home baker, a young baker keen to show off your skills or have a treasured family recipe, we’d love to see what you can create.

It’s our 40th birthday and you’re invited! 🎁 🎂

On Saturday 4 July, The Pottsville Beach Community Hall is inviting the whole community to celebrate this special milestone with a FREE day of live music, kids’ activities and community connection.

Take a trip down memory lane with our historical photo display, enjoy live music and bar throughout the afternoon, grab a free sausage sizzle and help us celebrate the people and stories that have made Pottsville what it is today.

As we get closer to finalising the details for our 40th Birthday Celebration, we’re busy putting together a special photo exhibition that tells the story of Pottsville Hall and the people who have helped make it such an important part of our community over the past 40 years.

Come treasure hunting through racks of fabulous pre-loved fashion and accessories. It’s the best way to refresh your wardrobe sustainably!

Gold coin entry and tuck shop proceeds go towards the Hall’s maintenance and future projects!

Wow 2025 was a big one for our little Pottsville Beach Community Hall! 🥰

In 2025 the hall was buzzing with connection, creativity, and community spirit. We hosted so many wonderful events, including:
👗 Wardrobe Rummage
🎬 Seen film screening
🎨 Kids Xmas Craft Fair
🎃 Halloween events for kids and adults
🍽️ Supper Club
🎄 And of course, our Christmas Day lunch

We also welcomed a range of fantastic private events and activities that kept the hall full of life all year round.

Along the way, we continued to improve the hall’s facilities and recently added some beautiful fairy lights to help set the mood ✨

The team also kicked off a photo project for the Hall’s 40th birthday celebration in 2026!

💛 A huge thank you to the volunteer committee members, who keep everything running behind the scenes.

And thank you to everyone who walked through the doors, volunteered, performed, or attended an event. Your support helps keep the doors open and truly made 2025 a success for the hall.
