We would love to see you at our National Eucalyptus Day Event Sunday March 22nd, 11am to 1pm.
Hello Members and Supporters
Many of the trees are now in at the Leywhollot - Fawthrop Lagoon Project Site but they need a hand to grow. It is too dry to plant this year but let's help what's already planted to grow well.
So next Sunday from 11am - 1pm we are asking members of the Portland Community who appreciate our beautiful Estuarine Lagoon and its important place as a Nature Reserve to lend a hand. Even for an hour, it all helps.
Meet at the Project sign, Lagoon end of Gawler St,.Crn Cameron St
Collect a Nature Trail Brochure on the Useful Indigenous Plants at the Reserve and a Junior Nature Trail Brochure from our Information table and take the kids for a self guided walk around the Lagoon and learn what's found there. Bring some cash with you for our fundraising koala merchandise, and for the 'Guess the Koalas in the Jar' Raffle
Free work gloves and water available for all helpers
Thank you
