This year, United Way Glenelg President Marg Wagner took a different approach โจ
Instead of delivering a traditional President's Report, Marg shared a poem ๐๐ a heartfelt reflection on the people, partnerships and community spirit that make our work possible.
It was a refreshing reminder that behind every statistic is a story ๐, behind every project are people โค๏ธ, and behind every success is a community working together ๐ฑ.

I donโt need to tell you the detail of those,
Turn the pages, read on, itโs right under your nose.
We hope you can see how we work hard to make
Our community much stronger, a happier place.
We hear you, we see you, we know what to do
But canโt do this solo we need you, you and you!
What I do need to say is โThank you to youโ
If youโve supported some way this fabulous crew.
As Board member, partner, a worker or friend,
Without your support this would come to an end.
Too many to name, we are grateful for all
The support that is given - tireless or small.
Glenelg Shire our focus - our strong beating heart
All the towns, farms and districts โ every single part.
