Saturday the garden was a buzz with cooking. Many goodies were made during a TM7 Basics Class (Thermomix). The room was full, the cooking was great. It’s wonderful to see our facilities being used for community activities.

Your Year to Volunteer

It’s National Volunteer Week and at Portland Community Garden we run totally on volunteers. We appreciate their commitment and efforts towards this community project.

Recently at our latest working bee our volunteers helped spread wood chips and weeding, followed by a delicious morning tea.

Our worms produce lots lovely juice for your garden. Dilute 10 parts water to 1 part worm juice. Available in the shop for $5.

Looking for some help to clean out the gutters on main building. Can you help??
Following a windy night and some high gum trees in a neighbouring yard the gutters are completely blocked. We have a stepladder etc and just need a couple of volunteers to help clear the blockage. Wayne 0419351558
