And that’s a wrap on our Daffodil Day Cold Plunge! 🥶

A huge thank you to our wonderful committee members who braved the cold water, kept time, cheered us on, or supported us from afar. It was certainly a fresh plunge, but a powerful reminder that the discomfort we experienced is the daily reality for many people living with cancer. A small price to pay in support of such an important cause.

A special thank you to crew for supporting us from the beach, and to Lucy, Katrina, Benji, Jase and Matilda for taking on the plunge! 👏

A big shout-out to Katrina Ruddick, who has done an incredible job raising $359 through donations. Amazing effort! 🙌

As donations continue to come in, we’d also like to thank everyone who has supported us—whether through a monetary donation, sharing our fundraiser, or simply sending words of encouragement.

💛 Thank you for getting behind us and helping us support Daffodil Day and those affected by cancer.

Every Relay For Life is made possible by the incredible people who choose to give a little of their time and a lot of their heart.

If you've ever thought about getting involved with Portland & District Relay For Life, we'd love to welcome you. Volunteering is one of the most rewarding and meaningful ways to support our community and make a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

Whether you have an hour to spare now and then or would like to take on a bigger role, every contribution matters. There is no expectation to do it all—your involvement can be as little or as much as suits your lifestyle.

As the saying goes, many hands make light work. The more volunteers we have, the easier the workload becomes, and the more ideas, skills, creativity, and enthusiasm we can bring together to make Relay even more special.

Along the way, you'll meet wonderful people, share plenty of laughs, create lasting friendships, and be part of something truly inspiring.
