Well that’s a wrap for High Tea 2026, teapots and trios packed away for next year 🫖🎂
We would like to thank the 114 people that attended, many who have supported us in all 6 of our High Tea events
We are incredibly proud to announce that we have raised $6000 for BlazeAid who supports families affected by the recent Victorian bushfires
An enormous thank you again to the generous local businesses for their donations- your support helped us maximise our fundraising efforts and make an even bigger impact!

Cycling Without Age would like to thank all of our volunteers for High Tea
A huge thank you to Heather and Myra from the Portland Bowling Club who did an amazing job with the bubbles and washing so many glasses for us.
A big thank you to the Sunnies Uke band who delighted us with a set of music.
An amazing enormous thank you to the tea ladies, the Portland Women’s Service Club, they were awesome.
Thank you to our waiters from the nuns beach swimming group who not only were delightful waiters but set up and took apart the cake stands.
Thank you to reluxeit and their lovely models who entertained us.
And finally a big thank you to the wider Cycling Without Age team who helped before, during and after. A big personal thank you to my sister Leesa who travels from Tasmania to help each year, Linda also from Tasmania, and a good friend Tricia from Melbourne who came to help this year.

We are definitely all in recovery mode today after another huge High Tea event on Sunday
To all of our volunteers on the day an enormous thank you, many hands make light work and it was definitely a big team effort
The goal of any fundraiser is to make as much money as you can for your cause.

Cycling Without Age Portland are holding our annual High Tea on Sunday March 15th at the Portland Bowling Club (near the water tower)
This year is a bit different though, our proceeds are going to be donated to BlazeAid to help Victorian communities affected by recent bushfires. Our annual fundraiser has put us in a good financial position so this year we’ve decided to support our fellow Victorians who have been affected by natural disasters and we would love your support.
We have a strict limit of 100 tickets so make sure you book your tickets early this year.
If you are a business and would like to donate ingredients or financial support to assist us in maximising what we are able to raise that would be incredible.
