Help us tackle the large accumulation of marine debris behind the dunes and along the beach at the eastern end of Cape Bridgewater Bay.
Organised by Beach Patrol 3280โ3284, with support from Glenelg Hopkins CMA, Parks Victoria and Friends of the Great South West Walk, this clean-up is a great opportunity to make a real difference to our coastline and enjoy one of the regionโs most spectacular walks. ๐ฟ๐
๐ถ What to expect:
โข A beautiful 2 km walk in and out
โข A physically demanding half-day clean-up
โข Marine debris removal from the beach and behind the dunes
โข A chance to see the shipping containers stranded on the coast since 2013
โข A motorised wheelbarrow will help transport collected rubbish back to the car park
โข ๐ฝ๏ธ Lunch provided!

Appropriate precautions will be in place to help keep volunteers and wildlife safe.
