Got a call out to euthanize a badly injured swamp wallaby this afternoon . Couldn't be saved. Had to be done, but this is the worst part of wildlife rescue, when this is the only course of action.

First one this year, very long, but thin. Just out of hibernation so very hungry. Lots of mice around, but a risk for my babies. Moved on, so hopefully, it gets some food and my babies stay safe. Light brown, and no markings on it. Got to be a meter long.
