Gold Scissors is heading off again , taking the Camry from Jamestown to Perth to Darwin!! Wish us luck!! Any donations will be appreciated greatly.... it affects us all in some way or another, this thing called Cancer, our family, friends, neighbours.... let's help as much as we can! All proceeds go to Cancer Research .❤️❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED US IN ALL WAYS FOR THIS RALLY, it has been AMAZING!!! Huge days - 700ks lots of great people and characters!! Thankyou again sincerely from Kerren and Tanya TEAM GOLD SCISSORS - AUTUMN 2024!

Fundraising hasn't quite finished but this rally alone has raised over 2.8 million dollars! Sh*tbox Rally now funds 10 out of 12 research projects with the Cancer Council.!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the legends of our Spring rally who have smashed the fundraising and achieved the 2ND HIGHEST AMOUNT RAISED OF ALL TIME!

Thank you to all of the participants who worked so hard to achieve this incredible amount of money raised for Cancer research.

And thank you, to everyone that donated to, or sponsored a team and supported us along the way from Port Douglas to Adelaide.

This is why we rally.....
The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) is the pinnacle for vital funding for groundbreaking cancer research projects, but their budget only goes so far. The cancer researchers who miss out get another chance at funding via Cancer Council grants. The impact of these projects has been felt right across Australia with many of the grants made possible by Box Rallies funding.

This means that Box Rallies funds some of the most exciting cancer research projects across the country – with the highest potential to significantly impact those affected by cancer.

Just a little poem…

ODE TO RALLY
James to celebrate the life
of his mother and father
Set off on a course
which became a great force
He gathered a group of sh*tboxes
and others who have
similar life losses
They travelled, they fundraised, they dressed up and hellraised
All in the name
of Cancer and Research.
It is an honour to don the
Sh*tbox Rally Shirts
whether it be Summer, Autumn , Winter
Spring or Mystery.
We travel on roads sealed
but mainly dirt
Travelling this great country
and what a great cause!
Meeting great people who have become
friends and then family
Dedicating one day to just pause
and Honour the ones who have won,
fought and lost against this terrible curse.
And we thank all those who
have dug deep in their purse
to help raise funds for research
hoping to lift this horrible curse.

and once again we must thank

As we did last year on the rally ,we have our in honour day , for those past and present who have had to deal with / or are dealing with cancer!!😢If you would like us(Gold Scissors ) to place your “in Honour “ persons name on our car we would be very happy to do that for you so they can be thought of!!❤️❤️Please PM me if you want !!❤️❤️We are nearly on our way,flying out Monday and having a few days to look around Port Douglas before we head out on 14th…. Don’t forget to vote!!!
