It was a crisp but beautiful morning at Port Macquarie parkrun today, with plenty of smiles, hugs and high fives at the finish line!
Thank you to all our awesome runners, walkers and of course our volunteers.
We need more volunteers next week so please get in touch and help our next RD Gary.
Don't forget that our #500 parkrun milestone is coming up on September 12th - get ready to party!

Get your gear ready and your post parkrun coffee plans sorted because we're on tomorrow from 7am. We've got a fantastic team of volunteers ready to make sure parkrun is safe and fun for everyone.
HOT TIP: We still need volunteers for the next few weeks so if you get in now you can secure your favourite position before the rush tomorrow 😉

We had 216 walkers and runners this morning - well done!

During National Stroke Week is it important to remember the acronym F.A.S.T:
Face – Has their face drooped?
Arms – Can they lift both arms?
Speech – Is their speech slurred or unsure?
Time – Call 000 immediately

Knowing the signs of stroke and acting quickly could save a life. Being active and healthy by coming to Port Macquarie parkrun each week reduces your risk of stroke.
