Alumna Felicity Wilson has captured perfctly the 'essence' of the Hastings Education Fund and our commitment to assist local young people to Dream, Believe, and Achieve. She recently graduated from her first degree, a Bachelor of Criminology, and is now transitioning into her final two years of Laws (Honours) and the Diploma of Legal Practice. In Felicity's words '2025 brought many wonderful experiences, with the highlight being my placement at a law firm, where I gained valuable industry experience. I’m looking forward to the 2026 university year, focusing entirely on law subjects and finally having the opportunity to choose electives aligned with my personal areas of interest.' Gratitude to Kendall Community OP-Shop which continues to support our organisation to assist local young people to dream, believe and achieve. Tonight it was a privilege to attend the 2026 Charity Grant presentation along with current grant recipient Eva, a former student at Camden Haven High School. This is yet another example of the impact that community organisations have in providing post-school opportunities for our local students. 🙏

During May, the wonderful team at Charles Sturt University, Port Macquarie Campus, organised a student BBQ to help raise funds for the Country Education Foundation of Australia's annual Boot Bash. Huge thanks to the CSU team, especially Karen, for prioritising the support for local youth studying at post-school level. Dream Believe Achieve.
