Our Emmaus residents recently enjoyed a wonderful outing to the observatory

The day was filled with curiosity, conversation and plenty of awe as residents explored the wonders of the night sky, learned fascinating facts and shared special moments together.

Our Emmaus Village Art Fair is open from 10am to 2pm until next Friday. See artworks, sculptures and wood work from our very talented residents at Emmaus Village and Emmaus Home as well as costumes featured on dancing with the stars created by one of our talented home companions.

Creativity was flowing at Emmaus Village this week.

Pencils, pastels, and plenty of colour — our residents gathered around the table for art class, each working on their own unique piece. There's something quietly wonderful about watching a room full of people lost in the joy of creating.

Art has a beautiful way of bringing people together, sparking conversation, and offering a moment of calm and expression. We love seeing our residents explore their creativity and share in the experience together.

Riding a jetboard — without leaving the café.

One of our residents at Emmaus Village experienced something a little extraordinary recently, thanks to NeuronsVR. With a headset on, he was out on the open water, riding a jetboard and taking in the view.

Technology like this opens up experiences that might otherwise feel out of reach — and watching the joy it brings is something special.

Bingo at Emmaus Village!

There's something wonderful about gathering around a table, listening for your number, and sharing a moment with the people beside you.

Our residents enjoyed a fun-filled game of Bingo this week — complete with chocolate treats, great company, and plenty of friendly competition. These are the everyday moments that make Emmaus Village feel like home.
