🎨 Calling all Birpai artists.

Port Macquarie Base Hospital is seeking a Birpai artist to create artwork for the paediatric long stay and palliative care room in the Paediatric Unit.

This special project will help create a welcoming, culturally safe environment for children, families and the broader community.

Supported by Birpai language and cultural interpretation, the artwork will reflect respect, kindness, hope and connection to Country.

The end of an era for Werin our practice nurse Lynnie has finally hung up her uniform and handed in her keys (she has tried to retire 5 times and keeps saving us). This time she says it’s for real!
The babies she immunised are now 15 years old, we are so grateful to you Lyn for your 15 years of service to our community, your contribution and commitment to our organisation is greatly valued and appreciated- wishing you a final wonderful retirement ❤️ please share your memories and best wishes to Lyn as she finally leaves us!
