Port Macquarie & Districts Family History Society  Inc PMDFHS, Inc is located in the Research Room/Local Studies Room of Port Macquarie-Hastings Library, Grant Street, Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia.

Search the world with us! The society meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month (except January) in the Meeting Room of MacAdams Music Centre, Grant Street, Port Macquarie. (opposite Players Theatre and next to Swimming Pool). Meetings start at 1.30pm (enter via main entrance from 12.30pm) and starts with a business meeting followed by a guest speaker. Entry fee of $2.00 per person, which covers afternoon tea. Everybody is invited to attend, and we are always happy to see visitors to our region.

This Saturday, the 22nd of August, the Port Macquarie & Districts Family History Society Inc will be hosting a Family History Open Day within the Port Macquarie Library. If you have an interest in your family history, you can come along between 10am and 2pm to meet members of the society and find out more.

is meeting is 11 July at 1.15pm at the CC MacAdams Music Centre, Port Macquarie. We will be hearing from Professor David Roberts and Professor Martin Gibbs from the Uni of New England, Armidale. They will report on the tests that have been conducted at Allman Hill to investigate the number of people buried there. Allman Hill was Port Macquarie's first burial grounds. Bookings are essential.
