Next week Wednesday 24th June from 10:00 until 12:00 in the Foyer of the Glasshouse Port Macquarie there will be a memorial for Fred Hynes . Friends and acquaintances are all invited with some coffee,tea and cake available. There will be memories of Fred from Tacking Point Lions Club, National Seniors, Lifeblood and optometrists and anyone else who would like to speak about their time with Fred. A Book of Condolences will be available.

Induction of PDG Peter Mercer into the Australian Lions Foundation Hall of Fame:

Past District Governor Peter Mercer has been formally inducted into the Australian Lions Foundation (ALF) Hall of Fame in recognition of his distinguished and exemplary service to Lions and to the wider community.

This honour is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated sustained commitment, leadership, and outstanding contribution through the Australian Lions Foundation and in their broader community endeavours. The Hall of Fame acknowledges Lions whose service reflects the highest ideals of our organisation, and whose impact has been both significant and enduring.

A private family memorial has been arranged for Fred. The family would like to thank everyone for the warmth and love that has been shown towards Fred during his years in Port Macquarie.
