A huge thank you to everyone who supported our 2026 Rotary Winter Woollies Drive. Your generosity has been incredible and has helped so many people in need stay warm this winter.

Our stocks are now at capacity and demand has slowed, so at this time we will be winding up our collection of donations as the warmer weather commences.

Thank you again to our donors. It might not seem much but it does provide a smile and appreciation when someone is doing it tough.

Look out for us in 2027.

🔬 National Youth Science Forum (NYSF) 🚀

Last week, we were privileged to hear from Cabel Lucky and Jhet Lynch from Hastings Secondary College Westport Campus, who shared their experiences attending the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF).

Their presentation gave us an inspiring glimpse into the exciting opportunities available to young people pursuing science, technology and engineering. We heard about nuclear power technology, advances in engineering, new developments in blood forensics, and much more.

Rotary is proud to annually sponsor students to attend NYSF, helping young people explore their interests, discover new possibilities and shape their future career aspirations and directions.

Supporting Hastings Secondary College P&C Association at Bunnings today.

Come down for a snag and say hi to your local P & C.

We have been pumping out the sausages non stop for 5hrs now. Thank you to our volunteers our community and all the Bunning customers today who’ve supported our P&C. All funds raise go directly back into our college.

💙 Homelessness Awareness Day

Championing the cause of homelessness support, Rotary was proud to be part of the New Horizons Homelessness Awareness Day event at Town Green, Port Macquarie this week.

Our Rotary volunteers were busy cooking up a storm on the barbecue 🍔🔥 while also offering Winter Woollies to help those doing it tough stay warm through the colder months. 🧣🧤

Homelessness Awareness Day shines a spotlight on the challenges faced by people in our community and reminds us all of the importance of compassion, connection and support for those less fortunate.

A big thank you to Munster Street Butchery for generously sponsoring the meat for our barbecue. Your support helps us make a difference. ❤️

Got Back Pain & Need Advice? 🤔

We were delighted to welcome Chris Said and Emma Sattrup from Aligned Chiro as our guest speakers at a recent Rotary meeting.

Chris and Emma shared the science behind back pain, explained common causes, and discussed how tailored chiropractic care can help people find both fast relief and long-term results. It was an informative and engaging presentation that gave members a better understanding of spinal health and the importance of accurate diagnosis.

🎭 Lights, Camera, Action! 🎬

This week, our Rotary Club went behind the scenes at Players Theatre for an exclusive backstage tour, seeing firsthand how the magic comes to life on stage. ✨

Many of us have enjoyed productions such as Singin' in the Rain, Chemical Imbalance, and the now playing Don't Dress for Dinner. Players Theatre continues to showcase incredible local talent, outstanding performances, and a wonderful theatre experience that brings our community together.

A big thank you to the Players Theatre team for welcoming Rotary and giving us a glimpse into the hard work, creativity, and dedication that goes into every production. We have an even greater appreciation for the magic that happens both on and behind the stage! 👏🎭
