The Birpai LALC's primary purpose is to provide long term, positive support, information and responsible governance for our Aboriginal community. The Birpai LALC aims to provide community based programs

and support which target the needs of Aboriginal people. We are focused on delivering opportunities for children, youth, adults and elders which provide long term stability, employment opportunities, job skills and training, health care and most importantly a continued connection with our cultural heritage and traditional practices. Through strong links with the broader community Birpai LALC is also committed to undertaking programs in partnership with broader community groups, government bodies and community individuals. Lastly, the Birpai Local Aboriginal Land Council is firmly committed to long term financial stability and accountability through sound financial management decision which are made in full consultation with the Birpai Board of Directors and its members. Nature Journaling Morning with Landcare- Sunday 30th August.

No Pets
What to expect:
A short walk to slow down, get grounded and feel inspired, followed by time to observe, create, relax, chat and share. There’ll be some simple options to help focus your nature journalling and plenty of time to spend in nature.
You don’t need to be an artist or have any nature journalling experience — you can draw, write, sketch, make notes, or simply spend time noticing what’s around you. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.
Bring:
• A sketchpad or paper
• Your favourite pens, pencils or art supplies
• Something to sit on (chair or blanket)
• Hat and water bottle
• Comfortable shoes and clothing for a short outdoor walk
Catering: Bring along a picnic, lunch or some snacks and stay as long as you like. Come for a little while or make a morning of it! 😊
No experience necessary — just bring your curiosity and a willingness to slow down and notice.
