The Birpai LALC's primary purpose is to provide long term, positive support, information and responsible governance for our Aboriginal community. The Birpai LALC aims to provide community based programs

and support which target the needs of Aboriginal people. We are focused on delivering opportunities for children, youth, adults and elders which provide long term stability, employment opportunities, job skills and training, health care and most importantly a continued connection with our cultural heritage and traditional practices. Through strong links with the broader community Birpai LALC is also committed to undertaking programs in partnership with broader community groups, government bodies and community individuals. Lastly, the Birpai Local Aboriginal Land Council is firmly committed to long term financial stability and accountability through sound financial management decision which are made in full consultation with the Birpai Board of Directors and its members.
