🌊 Community Participation, Connection & Social Engagement at TRISS! 💙

We love seeing our participants getting out into the community, enjoying meaningful experiences and building positive social connections! 🙌

Here’s Michael enjoying some quality time out in the community alongside his TRISS Support Worker, Adam. Moments like these are all about encouraging social participation, community access, confidence, independence and wellbeing, while supporting Michael to engage in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable to him. 🤝😊

At TRISS Services, we believe community participation is about more than simply getting out and about — it’s about creating opportunities to connect, build relationships, develop skills, pursue interests and live an active and fulfilling life. 🌿🌊

A big shout-out to Adam for supporting Michael to make the most of his community participation and social engagement! 👏

🎣🌊 Building Confidence, Skills & Wellbeing Through Community Access 🌊🎣

At TRISS, we believe some of life's greatest achievements happen outside the four walls of home. Whether it's learning a new skill, connecting with nature, or simply enjoying the outdoors, every experience contributes to greater independence, confidence, and overall wellbeing.

Recently, Angus enjoyed a fantastic day out during his Community Access and Recreational Support with TRISS, spending time by the water participating in marine-based recreational activities. Fishing provided the perfect opportunity to relax, develop patience and concentration, build confidence, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits that come from being surrounded by nature.

These meaningful experiences are about so much more than recreation—they're about empowering participants to pursue their interests, strengthen social and independent living skills, and create lasting memories while working towards their individual NDIS goals.

At TRISS, we're passionate about delivering personalised supports that encourage community participation, healthy lifestyles, and opportunities to thrive in environments that our participants genuinely enjoy.

Well done, Angus! We hope your next fishing adventure brings an even bigger catch! 🎣👏

A little update to our TRISS family… we’re officially married! 🤍💍

We had the most incredible day celebrating with our beautiful family and closest friends, and we’re still taking in just how special it all was.

We’re incredibly grateful for all the love, support, kind messages and well wishes we’ve received from our team, participants, families and wider TRISS community. It has meant so much to both of us.

It’s business as usual here at TRISS — just now as Mr and Mrs Romer! 🫶🏼🤍

🤝 Honoured to Support the PCYC Nations of Origin Program 🖤💛❤️

As we celebrate NAIDOC Week, TRISS is incredibly proud to stand alongside PCYC NSW as a sponsor of the Nations of Origin program—a powerful initiative that brings young people together through culture, sport, education, leadership and reconciliation.

It was a privilege for our Company Directors, Ty and Bree, to attend the 2026 Launch Night and receive a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of TRISS in recognition of our sponsorship and commitment to this outstanding program.

The PCYC Nations of Origin tournament empowers young people aged 14–16 by promoting positive pathways through education, teamwork and cultural connection. Participants demonstrate commitment by maintaining strong school attendance, engaging positively within their communities, and embracing respect, leadership and inclusion. Bringing together First Nations and non-First Nations youth, the program creates lifelong friendships while celebrating the world's oldest living culture.

At TRISS, we believe strong communities are built through opportunity, inclusion and meaningful partnerships. We are honoured to support initiatives that inspire the next generation, strengthen cultural understanding, and create lasting positive change.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making the 2026 Nations of Origin Launch such a memorable evening. We look forward to seeing the incredible achievements of all the young people participating this year.

Happy NAIDOC Week—let's continue to celebrate, listen, learn and walk together.
