Hedland Young Professionals (HYP) was formed in 2021 with a vision to provide networking & professional development for young professionals under 40 living & working in Port Hedland. Our young professionals are the future of businesses in Port Hedland & we want to create an environment in personal/professional development to retain them in our town.

📈 Tomorrow night is Census night. Make sure the Pilbara is counted.

If you live and work in the Pilbara for 6 months plus 1 day of the year, the Count the Pilbara campaign is encouraging you to complete the Census accurately on Tuesday 11 August.

For many FIFO and drive-in drive-out workers on rosters such as 8:6, you may spend more of your year living in the Pilbara than anywhere else.

An accurate count helps strengthen the case for the funding, services and infrastructure our communities need — from housing and health services to roads and community facilities.

The Pilbara should be funded for the people who live and work here.
