TWELVE MONTHS ON - STILL NO ODI.
It’s hard to believe that this time 12 months ago, a family was thrown into disarray when their beloved family member ODI went missing from Port Fairy.
ODI was scared by the 9:30 PM fireworks and was last seen bolting down the Princes Highway.
What followed was an amazing community campaign to help find this gorgeous Australian Shepherd.
It led to countless ‘sightings’ but the sightings were either other dogs with similar markings to Odi.
With no body or remains found, the Family still holds hope that Odi remains alive - but it’s likely he may have been abducted.
Still - the family has no closure, and will join hundreds of other stories relating to pets that have gone missing.
Some of those stories lead to happy outcomes, with animals found and returned home after many years away.
Like Odis family, we hope that this story leads to that same outcome, which is why we are still following the story, and it will feature on the new look Full Story program.
Even in their heartache, Odis family and the “Help Find Odi” page still remains a hub for families in similar situations, and even in the past 12 hours- they have shared posts about pets startled by fireworks last night - who are also now missing.
Odi’s family still isn’t giving up, and we will be helping them launch a fresh national and international campaign with our story ‘The Full Story’ - which is well into production.
