Access FNQ

Access FNQ is a locally owned, Port Douglas based organisation. We Simply put we love the work we do and we love the area we live in.

Each day we help people with the day to day things so they can get on with enjoying their lives. The organisation was started by a local nurse, Maria Hobbs to address the lack of support services available to people in some parts of the region. People without adequate home and community based support are at an increased risk of poor health, accidents, early entry to nursing homes and hospital admi

ssions. Commencing operation in 2016, we envision a future for the Douglas Shire where people have access to a wide array of services as do city folk and where active lifestyles in ageing are well supported. We are also focused on encouraging diversity of tourism within our paradise location.
