Get ready to boost your physical and mental fitness, connect with our incredible community and make a real difference by raising funds for headspace Port Augusta!

Here’s what you need to know:
📅Challenge dates: 3–26 June.
🎯The goal: Complete 3,214 push-ups... or pick an alternative exercise (squats, sit ups, walking etc.) You can also aim for half (1,607).
❤️Why 3,214? This number represents the 3,214 lives lost to su***de in Australia in 2023.
💪Sign up solo or start a team with your mates, family, school, gym, club or workplace.

On Friday 20th March, Country & Outback Health were proud to celebrate our Flying headspace clinician, Ben, who was selected as a finalist in the Excellence in Child Protection Initiatives in Health category at the KWY Focus Awards 2026.

This category recognises innovative and compassionate health sector initiatives that strengthen child protection and support the wellbeing of children and families, led by individuals, teams, or organisations.

While Ben was not the final winner, being named in the top three finalists at a national event is a significant and impressive achievement!

Well done Ben, we’re incredibly proud!

A special thank you to all finalists in the KWY Awards, and recognition to the dedicated staff across the rural health sector who support their clients every single day.

Who doesn't love free chocolate? Are you aged between 12 -25? Then we have a challenge for you! Come on down to headspace Port Augusta and see if you can guess how many eggs are in the jar but be quick because the challenge ends COB Thursday 2nd April.

The winner will get all the eggs in the jar (plus bragging rights) and will be announced the following week!

Did you see the team last week at the TAFE Alive event? If not don't worry! This week you can find us at the Multicultural Festival on Thursday the 19th and at Caritas Sports Day on Friday the 20th. If you can't make either of those events keep an eye out on Friday the 27th of March around Big W and you might spot the team.
