Anderson Dancers A non-profit organisation which provides dancing and theatre opportunities for all ages.

Anderson Dancers is a voluntary organisation that has been a part of
Port Augusta for the past 52 years. During this time there have been thousands of children through the school from Port Augusta ,Wilmington, Quorn, Hawker, Booleroo Centre, Roxby Downs, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Adelaide, Leigh Creek and outlying stations. Over the years we have raised money for various charities including Nerrilda N

ursing Home, Orana Industries, RFDS and many more. The team of volunteer teachers has had experience teaching and
choreographing with all ages from the youngest student to our adults, they love being involved in the day to day running of not only the dancing group but the Lea Memorial Theatre . Our aim is to provide inclusive dance to all students, from our youngest to our oldest.

It was a great day today. Special thanks goes Sandra Prentis for her hard work preparing and organising the rosters. Then Robyn who was there today with all the groups making sure the kids are all covered for rehearsals and shows.
These are the things that are very time consuming that most of us don’t see💕
Then thank you parents for turning up and putting down your names. Without you, we can’t do all of this.

Well done everyone.

It was a very busy day for Anderson Dancers on Sunday. In the morning we had our Toy Story 5 fundraiser at Cinema Augusta and then straight into “The 60 Four” at the Lea Memorial Theatre.
Thanks to all who helped out with tickets, ushering, canteen, setting up and packing up in both places.

She was always beautiful to watch and nothing has changed.
Congratulations Kelsey, all your hard work has paid off and to those that had a hand in getting her there, you should be very proud! Our own little Port Augusta star!

Kelsey is making her professional debut in Mamma Mia GC this September and we cant wait to see her in the show 💕💕

Today was PJ day and the kids and adults had lots of fun. So much so, that we forgot to take photos. 😱

We also hope that all our dancing mums have a wonderful day tomorrow and get to stay in their Pj’s.

Congratulations goes to Nelly Coulthard who won the in- house Mother’s Day raffle for her mum, we hope she gets to enjoy it tomorrow.
