Today is Wear It Purple Day, a day to show support for LGBTQIA+ young people and help create communities where every young person feels safe, respected and valued for who they are. Wear It Purple Day is held annually on the last Friday of August, encouraging schools, workplaces and communities to celebrate inclusion and acceptance.
