The Port Augusta and Davenport Community Alliance are pleased to share their new funding opportunity for the delivery of the Youth Outreach service.
The Youth Outreach service, more commonly known as ‘the purple shirts’, aims to promote community safety, reduce high-risk behaviours among young people, and provide opportunities for positive engagement outside of school and business hours in places where young people gather. The service is for young people aged 10-18.
Funding available: Up to $500,000 per annum
Funding term: 2 years
Applications close: 5:00 PM, 13 March 2026
Projects must support the Port Augusta & Davenport communities and be culturally safe, locally responsive, and developed in genuine partnership with First Nations communities.
