Bookings are well under way for the Rotary Club of Tasman Peninsula's annual helicopter flights to Tasman Island. The event takes place on the 7th March (with the 8th and 9th as standby dates). Seats are still available for the two hour (minimum) island experience, leaving from Safety Cove, near Port Arthur, but bookings will close on February 13th, so don't miss out. The booking site is:

The Rotary Club of Tasman Peninsula's next annual event, Helicopter Flights to Tasman Island, is scheduled for 7th March, 2026. It is an event not to be missed, a great addition to your bucket list. The flights leave from Safety Cove, near Port Arthur, and our patrons enjoy at least two hours on the island, viewing the magnificent coastline from the helicopter and the top of the lighthouse, chatting with a former lighthouse keeper and the Friends of Tasman Island as well as exploring the island, its residences and historical artifacts. Bookings will open on December 1st, online at https://tasmanisland.rotarytasman.org
