Cosplay Club Born out of want to share the cosplay experience with others outside of the convention scene, Cosplay Club is a creative space for all things cosplay!

You don’t have to cosplay to come check us out either!

The Behind Closed Doors event is this weekend. Here's what you need to know:

-The event is free to all Cosplay Club members, just mention that you are a member at the ticket desk in the gift shop as you enter.

-A cosplay photographer will be on site taking photos in three locations at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30 both Saturday and Sunday. For locations you can consult the map at the Cosplay Club stall area located in the Fitch Pavilion.

-There is a carpark located to the left of the main entrance for those driving in.

-There is also the Port Dock train line that terminates at the museum for those taking public transport.

Join Cosplay Club for our first photowalk of the year at Himeji Gardens on May 16th 🌿🎭

Step into a peaceful, traditional Japanese setting and capture your cosplay in one of Adelaide’s most unique locations. This photowalk is the perfect opportunity to get high-quality photos of your work, explore new poses and ideas, and connect with other cosplayers in a relaxed, supportive environment.

We’ll have two photographers on-site, with tickets priced at $15, which includes four unedited photos of your cosplay in this stunning setting 📸

Whether you’re a seasoned cosplayer or just starting out, everyone is welcome — just bring your cosplay, your creativity, and enjoy the experience!

Spots are limited, so be sure to secure your place and don’t miss out!

🚨 FREE ENTRY FOR COSPLAYERS! 🚨

Cosplay Club is heading to the Behind Closed Doors History Month event hosted by the NRM Port Adelaide, and if you’re a Cosplay Club member attending in costume, you’ll receive FREE entry to the event!

Join us on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May for a unique weekend of history, trains, and immersive fun.

We’ll be there with a table, a cosplay display area, and a photographer on-site capturing your looks throughout the day.

Whether you’re dressing up or just coming to enjoy the atmosphere, come say hello and be part of something special.

With special access to exhibits usually closed to the public, train tours, a driver experience, BBQ by Scouts and café car hosted by Rotary, it’s shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend!

3D PRINTING FOR COSPLAY

Bought a printer… and then realised you have absolutely no idea what to do next?

Or maybe you’ve been staring at STL files like they’re written in ancient language?

We’ve got you!

The amazing will be running an in-person 3D Printing for Cosplay workshop at The Rundle Collective, breaking it down from the very beginning.
We’ll cover:
- Sourcing & creating 3D files
- How to prep files for printing
- Printing software basics
- Entry-level printer recommendations
- Local suppliers & printing options
- Best practices (orientation, supports, infill & more)
- Assembling prints properly

Then we dive into finishing:
- Surface prep (quick vs properly sanded. Yes, there’s a difference!)
- Filling & sanding techniques
- Aussie-friendly product alternatives
- Prepping your basecoat

This is about building confidence with 3D printing so your next cosplay piece can shine!

Always wanted to learn how to use a sewing machine but felt a bit intimidated? This workshop is designed to be relaxed, supportive, and beginner-friendly — no experience required.

Join Cosplay Club for a 3-hour hands-on class where you’ll learn sewing fundamentals and make your own custom appliqué pennant to take home.

What we’ll cover:
– Setting up and threading any sewing machine
– Straight and zigzag stitches
– Sewing corners and curves
– Fabric types and how to use them
– Appliqué basics

Cosplay is amazing, but it can be daunting! 😮 Would you really love to make a costume based on your favourite character, but just don’t know where to start? Do you have an in progress project but something about it has stumped you? Or are you an old hand but just really want some company while you work?
Come to Cosplay Club! No bookings required, just turn up at any point from 4pm - 8pm on the night!
Bring your questions, bring your tools and bring in your progress builds. Join other cosplayers in learning new skills, exchanging advice and getting to know the cosplay community.
For ages 15+.
Please note some date changes from last year! There are no meets in Jan, Nov or December at this location! Other Events may be happening, so keep an eye out!
