(Not so) Fun Facts and stats for your Sunday night ….

The Salvos surveyed 4,400 people who have accessed their services over the last couple of months. This is just a fraction of what they learned:

* 91% of respondents have skipped meals in the past 12 months
* 35% of parents said their children had gone to school hungry
* 84% go to bed early to keep warm
* 51% are unable to afford to see a doctor, dentist or optometrist
* 90% have experienced being unable to afford public transport or fuel for their car.
