Pittsworth parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am at the Pittsworth Show Ground, Cnr Railway and Steele Streets. Pittsworth is located 169 km south-west of Brisbane via the Warrego Highway & 41 km south-west of Toowoomba. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it

to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Apologies for any inconvenience but we will need to CANCEL our event this weekend. We are very lucky that for the most part, we are able to share our venue with other users, but at times, for the safety of our parkrunners and other users, especially when larger animals are involved, the decision to cancel is made.

We wish Kurrajong Pony Club a successful weekend of riding and thank the organisers for being supportive of our event wherever possible. ☺️

This weekend marks our 12th birthday!

🥳WOOOOOO-HOOOOOO🥳

Can you believe we have been turning up each Saturday for 12 years??? How exciting and what a fabulous achievement for our awesome community.

Pittsworth parkrun…12 years of providing a free, weekly, timed, 5km event for EVERYONE!

The icing on the cake for this achievement is the many incredibly, generous vollies that turn up regularly to ensure the event goes ahead. Without our volunteers, we ABSOLUTELY would not have lasted this long!
