Very sad news. Brett has played a pivotal role in the restoration of our Historic Scheyville Army Camp and its recognition for its historic importance to the Hawkesbury.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brett Wild, Taskforce Veteran Founder and Chairman, respected veteran and tireless advocate.

Brett dedicated much of his life to honoring the service and sacrifice of Australian veterans and ensuring their stories would be remembered for generations to come.

His vision, leadership and unwavering commitment has left an enduring legacy that we are proud to continue.

Beyond his achievements, Brett was a man of integrity, compassion, and service. He dedicated countless hours to supporting veterans, preserving military history, and strengthening the bonds within the wider community.

Whilst we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, may his legacy continue to inspire service, remembrance and community for many years to come.

Our deepest condolences are extended to Brett's family, friends, staff, colleagues and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him.

Further information regarding memorial arrangements will be shared when available.
