Another great day for Pitt Town Probus. Walking the historic Goods Line, following the path of the wool, wheat and meat exports on their way to be shipped overseas.

A little playtime on the giant equipment in Tumblong Park and we were ready for lunch at Cockle Bay.

Pitt Town Probus enjoyed another interesting and informative day yesterday with a tour of "The Palace of Dreams", the iconic Art Deco State Theatre.

Behind the scenes, into the dressing rooms, smoking rooms, past disused fish tanks, we learnt the reason for the discrete placement of Ladies Conveniences and the causes of so many women swooning!.

Ending on centre stage in front of an imaginary audience, was a fitting finale to our visit.

🎤 A Fascinating Guest Speaker at Pitt Town Probus.

Today Pitt Town Probus had the pleasure of welcoming Vin Cosgrove OAM as our guest speaker.

Vin, an Australian War Veteran and National Serviceman, shared his passion for preserving Australia’s military history and honouring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.

Together with his wife Nancy, Vin has spent more than two decades visiting schools across NSW, educating younger generations about Australia’s wartime experiences.

A very interesting and thought-provoking presentation enjoyed by our members. Thank you, Vin, for sharing your stories and knowledge with us. 🇦🇺🌺

It's all happening! Pitt Town Probus is at the Pitt Town Sports Club Country Fair today. We have a fabulous cake stall packed with delicious homemade goodies for sale. Pop in and say hello, and treat yourself to something special! 🍰😊

Another great walk to finish off the month of August! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️📸

Pitt Town Probus members enjoyed a fantastic Photo Walk from Town Hall to Circular Quay, taking in the sights along the way via Mrs Macquarie’s Chair.

After plenty of walking, photos, laughs and good company, a tired but very happy bunch enjoyed a well-earned lunch before travelling home by train.

A wonderful day out exploring our beautiful Sydney! 🌿📷❤️

Accompanied by new friends from Windsor Probus, members of Pitt Town Probus were privileged to be the first ever Probus club visiting Zambi Wildlife Retreat at Wallacia.

The beautifully landscaped, spacious enclosures were home to sleek, contented big cats and a fascinating variety of rescued exotic animals. It was wonderful to see these magnificent creatures thriving in such a caring environment.

Morning tea in the Safari Tent made for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable day. Our thanks to the dedicated Zambi team for their warm hospitality — and to Emily, our cheerful guide.
