Accompanied by new friends from Windsor Probus, members of Pitt Town Probus were privileged to be the first ever Probus club visiting Zambi Wildlife Retreat at Wallacia.

The beautifully landscaped, spacious enclosures were home to sleek, contented big cats and a fascinating variety of rescued exotic animals. It was wonderful to see these magnificent creatures thriving in such a caring environment.

Morning tea in the Safari Tent made for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable day. Our thanks to the dedicated Zambi team for their warm hospitality — and to Emily, our cheerful guide.

Yesterday Pitt Town Probus were heading out again.

Clouds cleared and the sun shone for our visit to Victoria Barracks, Paddington, an historic oasis in the midst of the bustling city.

Our volunteer guide was a fountain of knowledge, concerning not only the military significance, but the vital city water supply protected within its confines.

An ample lunch at Paddo RSL was followed by a brief visit to the New Fish Markets to bag our "Catch of the Day" before heading home.

Today's guest speaker was Zieta O'Brien from Nurse Next Door. The presentation was very informative and provided valuable insights into the range of support services available to help people remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.
