🌟 Exciting News from LECT! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our 3rd 40-foot container from Australia to Suva, filled with school materials for schools in Lau! This is another milestone for LECT, and we can’t wait to distribute these much-needed items to various schools in the Lau province. Stay tuned for pictures and stories from Lau as we embark on this important journey!

A heartfelt thank you to Mr Ugesh Narayan of BW Holding for generously providing free warehousing space at Vatuwaqa for our container. Your generosity means the world to us!

We also want to express our sincere gratitude to Swire Shipping for their incredible generosity in transporting our container from Australia at no cost. This support is invaluable for the children of Lau, and we are deeply appreciative!

In addition, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Solar Buddy for their partnership, which has enabled us to continually deliver solar lights to schools in Lau. Your commitment to empowering our students through sustainable energy is commendable!

Special thanks to our dedicated LECT directors overseas, led by LECT Chairperson Mr. Jesoni Vitusagavulu in Washington DC. We also recognize the hard work of Mr. Peni Toga (Gold Coast), Dr. Sainimili Mateyawa (Gold Coast), Dr. Gina Balawanilotu (China), Mr. Dan Rogoyawa (Sydney), and Mr. Nacanieli Yalimaiwai (Auckland) for facilitating this much-needed help from abroad!

Our Suva-based Trustees, including Mrs. Ana Domoni, Dr. Priscilla Puamau, Mrs. Unise Cawaru, Mr. Isikeli Karikaritu, and Mr. Semi Tukana, are ready to work tirelessly to ensure these school supplies reach their destinations in Lau. Your commitment is truly inspiring!

A special mention goes to Mr Peni Toga, who has been instrumental behind the scenes in getting the container to Fiji, supported by our other directors.

We also acknowledge our directors who have visited schools in Lau in recent months, including Mr. Isikeli Karikaritu and Mr Peni Toga at Cicia, Mr. Nacanieli Yalimaiwai at Nayau District School, and Dr. Gina Balawanilotu at schools at Lakeba. Site visits are invaluable in strengthening our connection with the schools and community, enhancing our efforts.

As we look forward to delivering these crucial educational resources to schools in Lau in the coming months, we remain dedicated to our core mission of supporting our students.

Together, we continue to work towards a brighter future for our students in Lau! 💖
