This Thursday, 13 August, we’re celebrating the achievements of the incredible young people who have taken part in Big Brother 18.0 — and we’d love for you to join us!

Come along, celebrate with the graduates, meet the crew and hear some exciting announcements on the night 👀

Esuarve supports disengaged and at-risk young people in Queensland through youth mentoring, alternative learning, life skills and employment pathways.

Today marks a significant milestone for Esuarve.

We are incredibly grateful to receive $3 million in funding over the next three years through the Queensland Government’s Proven Initiatives program.

To be the first organisation in Queensland funded under this initiative is both humbling and a privilege. We understand the responsibility that comes with this investment, and we’re committed to ensuring it delivers meaningful outcomes for the young people and communities we serve.

This moment certainly didn’t happen overnight. It represents six years of hard work, countless challenges, incredible supporters, and a team that has never stopped believing in what is possible.

With this backing, we now have the opportunity to demonstrate what early intervention can achieve when it’s trusted, properly resourced, and delivered by people who genuinely care.

To everyone who has walked alongside us, believed in our vision, partnered with us, referred young people, volunteered, donated, or simply encouraged us along the way—thank you. This achievement belongs to all of us.

Now the real work begins.

Microsoft for Nonprofits sharing the Esuarve story around the world. We are incredibly proud to have been nominated for this and we look forward to forward to sharing more shortly!

When young people are given trust, skills, and a second chance, lives can change.

Founded by Joseph Te Puni, youth rehabilitation nonprofit Everything Suarve supports young people with complex pasts through job training, mental health support, housing, mentorship, and life skills. In just five years, the team has helped 300+ young people, contributing to a 79% reduction in recidivism and a 90% return to work or school.

As demand grew, the team found themselves spending too much time on administration and not enough time with the young people they serve. Working with Microsoft partner ONGC Systems, Everything Suarve built a custom solution using Power Apps and Power Automate, alongside Microsoft 365 Copilot, to streamline referrals, track progress across their 10week10-week program, and strengthen reporting.

With less time behind a screen, they can spend more time on face-to-face connection.
