🎉 Big Brother 17.0 Graduation – 30 April 🎉

We’re getting ready for a very special night and we’d LOVE to fill Esuarve with our community!

This graduation is all about celebrating our amazing young people—their growth, their effort, and everything they’ve achieved along the way. 💙

We’re also incredibly grateful that Premier David Crisafulli MP will be joining us, recognising the impact these programs are having in our community.

If you’ve ever been curious about what we do at Esuarve, this is the perfect chance to come along and see it firsthand. It’s always a proud and powerful event.

Come celebrate with us—we hope to see you there!

When young people are given trust, skills, and a second chance, lives can change.

Founded by Joseph Te Puni, youth rehabilitation nonprofit Everything Suarve supports young people with complex pasts through job training, mental health support, housing, mentorship, and life skills. In just five years, the team has helped 300+ young people, contributing to a 79% reduction in recidivism and a 90% return to work or school.

As demand grew, the team found themselves spending too much time on administration and not enough time with the young people they serve. Working with Microsoft partner ONGC Systems, Everything Suarve built a custom solution using Power Apps and Power Automate, alongside Microsoft 365 Copilot, to streamline referrals, track progress across their 10week10-week program, and strengthen reporting.

With less time behind a screen, they can spend more time on face-to-face connection.

Yesterday marked the realisation of a conversation that began two years ago with founder Mark Forbes — the opening of Australia’s first crisis accommodation village for people experiencing eating disorders.

A standout moment was Premier acknowledging Esuarve and the young people who helped bring this project to life by building these homes in partnership with . For our young people, that recognition mattered. As they put it themselves, they felt “famous.” More importantly, they felt seen — and that has always been the purpose behind these community projects: creating a genuine sense of belonging and contribution.

At Esuarve, we’ve always been clear about what we want to achieve through housing. This is no longer just a conversation — this project is proof of what’s possible, and it’s only the beginning.

Congratulations to endED and everyone involved in delivering such a meaningful initiative. We’re proud to be part of what comes next.

What if you could experience the consequences of your choices… before they happen?

Not be told.
Not be warned.
But truly experience them.

Esuarve is proud to announce “Hindsight” — a groundbreaking virtual reality experience designed to place young people inside high-pressure scenarios where decisions matter.

This isn’t a game.
This is immersive, experiential learning.

Through “Hindsight”, users are placed in real-world situations where choices must be made—and where the unseen consequences unfold in ways that are felt, not just understood.

For the first time, they can step beyond their own perspective—and see the impact of their actions through someone else’s eyes - the victims.

We extend our sincere thanks to David Crisafulli, Laura Ge**er and Department of Youth Justice Victim Support for backing Esuarve through a $300,000 Kickstarter grant. Your support is helping bring meaningful innovation to life—focused on prevention, awareness, and lasting impact.

While we’re only just beginning, the opportunity ahead is significant. Our ability to scale is only limited by access to VR.

We envision a future where experiences like this are embedded across schools, detention centres, and community organisations—creating a new standard for early intervention, restorative justice, and education before consequences take hold.

Because once you truly understand the impact…
you don’t see decisions the same way again.

“Hindsight” changes that moment.

Yesterday, Esuarve marked 6 years as a registered charity — six years of stepping into this space with purpose, commitment, and belief.

In previous years, we’ve celebrated our young people, our partners, and the journey ahead — all of which remain deeply important. But this year felt different.

This year, we paused to reflect and honour someone who has been part of Esuarve since before it even began — Uncle Steve.

Steve carries a story of profound loss, having lost his son Pono at just 17 while in care. Yet through that pain, he chose purpose. From day one, he believed in the vision of Esuarve. For two years, he went without pay, slept in our first warehouse away from his family, and sacrificed more than most ever see.

Steve never asked for recognition. His focus was always on making sure Esuarve was in a position to change as many lives as possible. He stood firm on one principle — that no young person we work with should ever be treated as just a number.

That value lives on in everything we do today.

It is also why, in every program, we proudly present the “Pono Wairua” award — a reflection of Steve’s heart, and a legacy of his son.

On our 6th anniversary, we honour you, Uncle Steve. Thank you for your sacrifice, your belief, and your unwavering dedication.

Esuarve is what it is today because of you.
