❤️ Prevention starts before the moment.

Yesterday, the Esuarve team proudly stood alongside Voice for Victims Foundation on National Victims’ Day, climbing the Story Bridge to raise awareness and funds for those impacted by crime.

At Esuarve, our work is focused on youth intervention and crime prevention.

Every day, we work with young people to help them understand the impact of their choices — not just on themselves, but on their families, victims and the wider community.

We believe strongly in early intervention.

Reaching a young person before a poor decision becomes a life-changing one.

And when that decision has already been made, we believe in accountability, rehabilitation and giving young people the tools to make different choices moving forward.

Our goal isn’t simply to keep young people out of the justice system.

Our goal is to help prevent the next offence — and ultimately, prevent the next victim. ❤️

That is why standing alongside organisations like Voice for Victims matters so much to us.

We can passionately believe in rehabilitation while equally standing beside the people who have experienced the consequences of crime.

For Esuarve, these aren’t opposing sides.

They are part of the same mission — creating safer communities and fewer victims.

We were incredibly proud to stand alongside Voice for Victims yesterday and support the important work they continue to do.

🚶‍♂️🏉 Esuarve is climbing against crime.

On 16 September, our team at Esuarve will take on the Story Bridge as part of the inaugural Climb Against Crime, raising funds to support victim-survivors of crime across Queensland.

Every day we work alongside young people, families and communities to create positive pathways, strengthen resilience and help prevent the impacts of crime before they occur. That's why this cause is close to our hearts.

We're proud to stand alongside the Voice for Victims Foundation, Ben Cannon and many other community leaders, organisations and supporters who are committed to making a difference.

The event has already raised nearly $14,000, with a target of $25,000, and we'd love your support to help push that total even higher.

Whether it's $5, $50 or $500, every contribution helps provide practical support and assistance to people impacted by crime.

The reporter said “you understand how big this is right?” Yes, we have been doing this for three years, and it often goes over peoples head.

Everything Suarve (Esuarve) runs a 10-week program that gives at-risk youth the opportunity to gain skills and qualifications while building tiny homes.

Today marks a significant milestone for Esuarve.

We are incredibly grateful to receive $3 million in funding over the next three years through the Queensland Government’s Proven Initiatives program.

To be the first organisation in Queensland funded under this initiative is both humbling and a privilege. We understand the responsibility that comes with this investment, and we’re committed to ensuring it delivers meaningful outcomes for the young people and communities we serve.

This moment certainly didn’t happen overnight. It represents six years of hard work, countless challenges, incredible supporters, and a team that has never stopped believing in what is possible.

With this backing, we now have the opportunity to demonstrate what early intervention can achieve when it’s trusted, properly resourced, and delivered by people who genuinely care.

To everyone who has walked alongside us, believed in our vision, partnered with us, referred young people, volunteered, donated, or simply encouraged us along the way—thank you. This achievement belongs to all of us.

Now the real work begins.
