Yesterday, we celebrated a major milestone - 8 incredible years of community, connection, and movement! 🎉 We're thrilled to have had 148 superstar supporters join us, thanks to the amazing team at The Athlete's Foot Australia - Narellan Town Centre and Ashley and Jerry, who helped us experience the new Reebok Float Premier shoes ahead of their release. We were blown away by the comfort and roomy toe box! 🏃♀️ Congratulations to our local legends: Jen from Bathurst on her 350th parkrun, our Picton Social owner Chris on his 300th, Josh on his 100th, Dustin on his 25th, and Ashton on his 10th! 🎉 The buzz around our birthday cake drew in visitors from far and wide - Campbelltown, Camden, Cronulla, Bathurst, Goulburn, Canberra, and Wollongong, we're honored you joined us! 🎂 We enjoyed the creative costumes that some of you wore such as a Pineapple, Pirate, Parramatta Supporter, Mary Poppins (silent Mary, haha), Princess and to all who chose to wear the colour pink or purple, you all looked amazing. We're deeply grateful to everyone who's been part of this journey over the past 8 years. Your energy and enthusiasm are what make parkrun so special. Here's to many more years of inspiring each other to be our best selves whether that is participating in walking or running or by volunteering! 💪
